Adding and inviting your coach

Give your coach a login so they can submit their own expenses and see what they're owed.

Coaches usually spend the most out of pocket. Giving them a login moves that bookkeeping off your plate.

  1. Add their name and email in Settings.
  2. On Roster, find the coach card and press Invite coach.
  3. Check the preview, then send.

What the card tells you

  • Email needed— you've entered a name but no email, so there's nobody to invite.
  • Not invited — ready to send.
  • Invited — not registered— sent, but they haven't set a password yet.
  • On TeamFees — signed up and able to use it.

On TeamFees
The coach card on your Roster page, in each of its four states. Only the middle two offer an invite — with no email address there is nobody to send to.

What a coach can do

Submit expenses, follow their reimbursements, and view team expenses and the ledger. They can't see the roster, contact details, or what any family owes. There's no Payments page for them, since they have no player on the roster.

A team holds one coach. If you have several staff to reimburse, add them as expense payees instead — you don't need an account to pay someone back.
