How it works

Four ideas, and you know the whole app

TeamFees replaces the spreadsheet you're keeping for your team. Here's the whole thing, start to finish.

1

Start with an expense group

An expense group is a chunk of spending you split across players — a tournament, a trip, or a stretch of the season. Inside it you list the team's expenses: hotel, referees, entry fees, coach travel, etc.

Tournament entry
$1,150.00
Hotel — 3 nights
$780.60
Referee fees
$393.00
Surf Cup total
$2,323.60
2

Choose who's participating

Not every player goes to every tournament. Assign only the players who are in, and leave the rest off — the ones you assign are the ones who pay for the expenses. You can always change individual amounts owed by players.

3

Fees calculate themselves

TeamFees divides the total by the number of participating players and sets everyone's fee. Add a buffer if costs are still coming in, and any sponsorship or fundraising money you record reduces what families owe.

Total to split$2,323.60
Participating players17
Fee per player$137.00

Rounded up to the dollar. You can override any player individually.

4

Collect, and see who still owes

Email every parent what they owe in one click. As payments come in you record them — or, with Stripe, they record themselves. Every payment and expense lands in one running ledger you can hand to the next treasurer.

Getting paid

Two ways to collect

Use the apps you already use and record payments yourself, or let Stripe handle cards and bank transfers and record them for you. You can use both.

Either way, parents pay you directly. TeamFees never holds or moves your team's money.
