Recording donations and sponsorships
Money coming in from outside the families lowers what everyone owes.
If a club, sponsor or outside donor is covering part of an event, add it as a donation inside that expense group with Add Donation.

How it changes the fees
Planned donations are subtracted from the total before it's split. A $4,000 tournament with a $1,000 sponsorship splits $3,000 across the players.
Adding a donation doesn't change fees that are already set. Press Calculate Fee per Playeragain to apply it — otherwise you'll over-collect and have to refund.
Expected versus received
A donation starts as expected. Record it as received when the money actually arrives, and TeamFees posts it to the ledger as income. A promised sponsorship that never materializes stays visible as expected, rather than quietly overstating your balance.
