Setting up your team

The six steps from an empty account to your first payment request, and what order to do them in.

Your dashboard shows a checklist until you dismiss it. It isn't decorative — each step unlocks the next, and skipping ahead tends to mean redoing work.

  1. Create your team.Name and season. Both appear in every email families receive, so use what they'd recognize.
  2. Add your roster. Players and their parents. See adding players and parents or importing from a spreadsheet.
  3. Choose how you'll get paid. Venmo, PayPal, Zelle handles, or connect Stripe for card and bank payments.
  4. Create your first expense group. A tournament, a trip, a stretch of season.
  5. Assign players and set fees.Choose who's taking part; TeamFees splits the cost.
  6. Send your first payment request. This is what bills the families.
