Closing out a season

Finish the books, stop being billed, and keep everything readable.

At the end of a season, get the books straight before you stop paying attention to them:

  1. Record every outstanding payment and reimbursement so the ledger reflects reality.
  2. Chase or write off remaining balances — waive what you'll never collect, so your totals stop lying.
  3. Export the ledger to CSV for your own records and any club report.

Closing the team

Settings→ close the team. It becomes read-only and billing stops, but nothing is deleted — you and every family can still sign in and read the history. It's reversible.

Close this team

Read-only, billing stops, nothing is deleted. Reversible.

Close team

Delete this team

Permanent. Roster, expenses, payments and ledger are removed.

Delete
The end-of-season options in Settings. Closing is reversible and keeps everything readable; deleting is neither.
Deleting a team is different and permanent: roster, expenses, payments and ledger go, with no undo. Export first. Closing is almost always what you actually want.

Handing over to the next treasurer

There's no ownership transfer yet. In practice: export the ledger, and have the incoming treasurer create their own team — cloning yours first if they want the roster. Then close yours.
