A parent didn't get the email
Nearly always spam or a typo in the address. How to check, and how to confirm what was actually sent.
In order of likelihood:
- Spam or promotions.Ask them to search their whole mailbox for "TeamFees" rather than just glancing at the inbox. Getting them to mark it "not spam" fixes it for good.
- The wrong address. Check the roster. A single wrong character means the mail went somewhere else entirely, with no way for us to know.
- No address at all.A player with no parent email is skipped, and your confirmation email lists exactly who — worth reading, because it's easy to miss on screen.
Confirming what was sent
After each send you get one confirmation email showing how many families were emailed, who was skipped, and the full text of what went out. If a family isn't on that list, the message was never sent to them.
Subject: Payment request sent to 18 families — Surf Cup
Your payment request for Surf Cup has gone out to 18 families (23 email addresses).
Not sent to:
- Zara Okonkwo (no parent email)
Fixing it
Correct the address on the roster, then send the request again to that player only. Re-sending doesn't double-bill — it's the same fee.
