What data TeamFees stores
Names, emails, and what's owed and paid. No card numbers, no bank details — ever.
Deliberately little. The list is short because the design keeps it short, not because we're summarizing.
What's stored
- Player names and their status on the team.
- Parent and coach names, email addresses, and optionally a phone number.
- What the team spends, and what each family owes and has paid.
- Emails the app has sent, so a treasurer can see what went out and when.
What is never stored
- Card numbers.Card payments happen on Stripe's own checkout page. Those details never reach our servers.
- Bank account or routing numbers. Same — Stripe handles them.
- Venmo, PayPal or Zelle credentials. We store the treasurer's public handle to build a payment link, nothing more.
Passwords are stored only as a strong one-way hash, which means nobody — including us — can read them back.
Children's data
A player record is a name and a team status. No date of birth, no address, no photograph, and children have no logins. The accounts belong to adults.
Deleting a team removes its roster, expenses, payments and ledger permanently. That's a real delete, not a flag.
