Using a promotional code

Where to enter a code, and what to do when one is refused.

Settings → Billing → Have a promotional code? Enter it there and the panel will tell you exactly what it bought — how long it lasts and when a paid subscription would start.

Code applied — your first 3 months are free. Billing starts June 1, 2026.

Entering a code. The panel tells you exactly what it bought before anything is charged.

If it's refused

Check for typos — codes are exact.
Some codes are first-team-only, so they won't apply to a second team on the same account.
Some expire.

The message will say which of these it is. If it doesn't make sense, get in touch with the code and your team name.

A code covering the full price still asks for a card if it expires later, so the subscription can continue when the discount ends. A code that never expires doesn't ask for a card.
